We Love It's Guide to…
ARCWATT: Power Empire
Plan, power, and protect a city that runs on the grid you build. Place producers, balance demand, survive storms and surges.
The Developer Says...
Build a city that lives on wires.
Arcwatt: Power Empire is a city builder where you design the power grid instead of roads and pipes. Housing, factories, commerce — everything lives while the current flows. And dies when it doesn't. Every tile is a decision.
Synergies: housing next to commerce — bonus. Factory smoke next to housing — penalty.
Overload: two supply lines into one building, and it burns.
Every building rotates. Every footprint matters.
Coverage is physics, not a magic circle
Radius is measured from the edge of the plant to the edge of the consumer. A generator wedged into the corner of a huge factory will reach. A panel two tiles away won't.
Where you build matters as much as what you build.
The city breathes with the sun
Solar panels are dead at night. Wind fades at dawn. Housing demand climbs in the evening. Plan for the dark hours — or sit in them.
The world hits back
Heat drives demand up. A storm cripples your turbines for half a day and strikes your buildings with lightning. Fuel contract: fast money now, slower income later. You have 20 seconds to decide.
