Yesterday is a blur.
Today, you have a debt to pay.
You wake up on a small boat near a quiet settlement with a pounding headache and more questions than answers. Unfortunately, the town guard isn’t interested in explanations.
The debt is real.
And somebody has to pay it.
With an old axe in your hands and no better options available, you head into the forest and start chopping trees.
What begins as a desperate attempt to earn a few coins gradually turns into a simple daily routine. Day after day, you’ll gather wood, improve your tools, hire helpers, and slowly work your way toward freedom.
Before long, the routine begins to feel surprisingly comfortable.
No grand adventures.
No world-saving destiny.
Just honest work, steady progress, and a forest full of trees waiting to be cut.
At first, every tree matters.
Cut down trees, carry logs back to storage, sell your wood, and earn enough coins to make it through another day. Hard work is your only way out of debt.
A better axe makes a big difference.
Invest your earnings into upgrades that help you chop faster, work more efficiently, and get more done before the day is over.
You don’t have to do everything alone forever.
As your progress grows, you’ll be able to hire lumberjacks to help gather wood and keep production moving. What starts as a one-man struggle can slowly become a smoother daily routine.
Every log brings you one step closer to freedom.
Earn coins, improve your tools, hire help, and keep working until the debt that started it all is finally behind you.
The Lumberjack’s Routine is a cozy pixel-art game about simple work, gradual progress, and the satisfaction of seeing your efforts pay off.
There’s always another tree to chop, another upgrade to unlock, and another step toward leaving your debt behind.
