In this team-based tower defense game, you build an army to defend against incoming waves while working to destroy the opposing team’s king. Battles pit teams against each other as each side manages its own defenses.
Each match gives you a selection of fighters to place and combine. You balance spending on defense with investing in workers and income, while choosing when to send mercenaries to pressure your opponents.
Play ranked 2v2 or classic 4v4 matches, or take on campaign and AI challenges in single-player or co-op. Random fighter selections, varied builds, and different modes shape how you approach each match.

Each match, you receive a random roll of 6 fighters, from 12 million possible combinations. Every fighter has strengths & weaknesses. Some secure strategic advantages early game, while others have powerful late-game synergies. Your skill lies in your ability to make the most of the hand you're dealt.
With 9+ years worth of data-driven, monthly balance patches, Legion TD 2 is perhaps the most balanced competitive game in the world. Rather than introduce disruptive changes every year to shake things up, Legion TD 2 has opted to chase perfecting a healthy meta. If you take a break for a couple years and come back, your same openings will probably still be viable.
