Echoes Of Formation

From the Devs

Echoes of Formation is an auto-battler strategy game focused on turn-based rivalry. It supports a variety of match sizes ranging from 1v1 to 5v5, and features multiplayer modes where you can fight alongside or against your friends. Representing either the "Crimson Lions" or the "Frost Eagles" faction, you and your teammates share a collective team health pool. Engage in enduring and intense battles, utilizing deep pre-combat strategies and in-game resource management to defeat your opponents and win the match.

Core Loop: Strategy-Driven Tactical Showdowns

The core gameplay loop revolves around "Preparation & Management - Auto Combat - Settlement." The combat phase is entirely automated, but this doesn't diminish the skill ceiling—it shifts the key to victory entirely to the preparation phase. Within a limited time, you must allocate your team's gold precisely and make highly targeted tactical decisions, enjoying the thrill of masterful strategic planning.

Deep Pre-Combat Preparation & Resource Management

During the preparation phase, you have immense freedom to customize your team and tactics. Your primary decisions include:

* Positioning & Focus Fire: Observe enemy movements, flexibly adjust your heroes' positions, and set crucial focus-fire targets to tear through the enemy's defense at the very start of the battle.

* Equipment Forging: Invest your limited gold into forging and smelting equipment, providing your core heroes with powerful set bonuses and passive effects.

* Attribute Growth & Runes: Freely choose directional attribute leveling paths and combine them with unique runes acquired at different stages to build a one-of-a-kind combat playstyle.

* Tactical Items: Purchase consumable items that only last for a single round to pull off surprising maneuvers and turn the tide of battle at critical moments.

Diverse Match Scales & Multiplayer Experience with Friends

Whether you prefer the solo strategic depth of 1v1 or the large-scale team coordination of 5v5, the game caters to your competitive needs. Invite friends to join the multiplayer mode—you can either team up and cooperate seamlessly in the ever-changing battlefield, or become opponents for a battle of wits against someone who knows your playstyle inside out, sharing the joy of strategy from all angles.

Brutal Team Rivalry & The Value of the Endgame

Both teams start with a fixed amount of team health, and losing a round will deduct from this health pool. The game features a unique dynamic health deduction formula based on the number of surviving enemy units and the current round phase. Even in a disadvantageous situation, killing as many enemy heroes as possible will effectively minimize your team's health loss. This mechanism distinguishes a "narrow defeat" from a "crushing loss," giving endgame combat genuine strategic significance.

An Ever-Expanding Hero Pool & Roster Synergies

The game offers a massive and continuously updated roster of unique heroes at your disposal. From impenetrable main tanks to opportunistic assassins and mages, each hero possesses distinct skill mechanics and ultimate ability timings. Build your ultimate lineup by assembling the right team, managing your overall rage generation, and mastering cast timings
