John was born underground on the day of a nuclear catastrophe and has spent his life following a strict routine in the bunker. Now alone, he faces a new alarm and must venture beyond the familiar areas as the facility’s systems fail.
The game unfolds through live-action scenes, with point-and-click interactions that let you move between bunker locations, inspect objects, and search for documents and recordings. Timed button prompts appear during some sequences.
As John explores, flashbacks reveal pieces of his past and help assemble the bunker’s history. The experience is largely linear, with limited choices and a final decision leading to one of two endings; collectibles offer additional details to find.
Reviews are mixed, but players who enjoy the experience often praise its claustrophobic bunker atmosphere, live-action presentation, lead performance, and gradually revealed mystery.
