Twilight Tides : Mirage Journey

From the Devs

【Twilight Tides: Mirage Journey】

The journey begins the moment we meet. You embark on a tarot-driven adventure that will touch love, loss, growth, and regret.

A shattered post-apocalyptic Earth intertwines with the sealed wartime realm of WWII Southeast Asia, two worlds overlapping as one.

Uncover the fate quietly stolen from you. This quest to reclaim yourself stretches long, yet lasts but a fleeting breath of mortal life.

The heroine and six fated heroes traverse the rifts between these twin realities. This journey mirrors life itself: there are no perfect answers, and every choice carves your destiny into being.

Dark Fantasy Tarot × Fateful Choices × Soul Exploration

A shattered, high-tech post-apocalyptic Earth, paired with a parallel-world WWII Nanyang wartime realm. This is a tale of stolen time, love, and tarot fate.

Built upon the 22 Major Arcana, woven from the years of two timelines lies a dark fantasy labyrinth. The cards of your fate wait for you to draw them one by one.

It is a journey, a soul-searching odyssey across time to confront your true self.

Step into unknown realms. Tarot threads together life, death and fate across timelines. Face fated romance and cross-world choices. Engage the gears of destiny deep within your soul — reflecting your views on intimacy and selfhood.

Fate never asks whether you are ready.

It lays the same question before you, over and over again:

Some would break you out of prison for you. Others would burn the world to the ground for you.

You say “no choice is inherently right or wrong” — yet every price must be paid by you.

This is not a tale of saving the world. It is a dark‑fantasy labyrinth woven from tarot cards.

When you reach the end and look back — is the person who drew the very first card at the start still you?

About This Game

Dark‑Fantasy Tarot × Fate‑Driven Choices × Inner‑Self Exploration

From the moment you awaken, the table of fate has already been set for you.

This is a dark‑fantasy labyrinth built upon the twenty‑two Major Arcana, nourished by the years of two intertwined timelines. Every card of fate waits for you to turn, along with the weight you must bear for every choice you make. More than a simple game journey, this is a profound soul‑searching odyssey across time to confront your true self.

Story Premise

You open your eyes amid nothingness, all memories of past lives erased. A fateful tome, *The Codex of Primal Order*, has quietly chosen you.

The twenty‑two tarot cards are shattered fragments of destiny. They thread countless parallel lives and bind six fated souls tied to you by life‑and‑death bonds, love and torment. Your existence is no longer confined to a single path. Two vastly different worlds will present their trials simultaneously, forcing you to make hard choices.

Primary World · Sci‑Fi Apocalypse

Black holes devour the light of heaven; the earth cracks and collapses. The Earth of the future has long lost all warmth of humanity. Multiple powers stand in rivalry: the United Deep‑Blue Republic, the Firmament Federation, and the Styx Empire. They seem to uphold the last prosperous utopia of the end times.

Yet beneath this glittering facade lies rot and desolation accumulated through ages of apocalypse — countless regrets born of plundered time and shackled fate. The masses dwell in false security. You alone can perceive the truth and stir the course of destiny.

Secondary Timeline · Turbulent WWII‑era Southeast Asia

Smoke of war blazes across the sky, human lives are as fragile as grass. This is a cruel world crushed by warfare. The gears of fate are forced into motion, where survival and love collide in their rawest form.

Trapped within the chessboard of chaos, every step you take is fraught with peril, each decision a matter of life and death. You must fight to escape amid gunfire and parting grief. Amid utter desolation, you choose whether to become a saving light for another soul. Will you make it out of that era alive?

Fated Bonds │ Six Souls Drawn Into the Game; Love and Hatred Yours to Decide

Across two timelines lie six destinies. They are your most unexpected wild cards in this game, and your most haunting obsessions across cycles of reincarnation.

Poseidon Azure of the United Deep‑Blue Republic, harbouring deep‑sea‑like quiet tenderness alongside obsession;

Apollo Ink‑White of the Firmament Federation, bathed in celestial radiance yet burdened with unseen loneliness;

Hades Night‑Dust of the Styx Empire, submerged in darkness yet willing to overturn fate for your sake;

And three mysterious figures hidden amid the gunsmoke of the war‑torn secondary timeline, bearing unknown pasts and bonds, waiting to cross paths with you.

The Wheel of Fortune turns at your command. One tender thought takes root a bond; one resolute decision shatters destiny. Nothing is absolutely right or wrong. All love, hatred, reunion and parting are cards you yourself draw, and endings you yourself endure.

Core Gameplay │ Play the Tarot Game, Abide by Your True Heart

Twenty‑two tarot cards chart destinies that run through the whole story. You are the only counterweight against fate itself.

Unravel grand mysteries in the apocalyptic sci‑fi world, face life‑or‑death trials on war‑ravaged battlefields. The two timelines, one ethereal, one tangible; one warm, one fierce, twist together and shape one another. Beyond fleeting romantic encounters lie raw human dilemmas, looping cycles of fate, and the courage to keep loving and moving forward even in utter despair.

When you draw The Chariot: will you stand brave against adversity, or wait passively for fate to unfold?

Trapped in chaos: will you save only yourself and flee suffering, or burn bright to light another’s way?

This is not merely a romance narrative game. It is a confrontation between you and the alternate version of yourself woven by fate.
