The Bus is a city-bus driving simulation set on recreated Berlin routes and streets at a 1:1 scale. Take the wheel of licensed buses and carry passengers between stops across a large map featuring landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate and Alexanderplatz.
Follow routes and timetables, operate the bus doors, handle boarding and alighting, and sell tickets to passengers. Traffic, pedestrians, changing weather, and day-night and seasonal cycles shape each trip; control options include realistic, arcade, and custom modes.
Play Freeplay to choose a vehicle and route, or use Economy mode to build a bus company by buying vehicles, hiring staff, handling maintenance, and earning money through contracts and ticket sales. Multiplayer supports driving with others, while editors and modding tools let players create routes, timetables, tours, and Workshop content.
Players who enjoy The Bus often praise its detailed recreation of Berlin, the buses, and the atmosphere of driving real-world routes through a familiar city. Some also find the route-driving relaxing and appreciate the weather, Economy mode, and modding options. Reviews differ sharply on the driving feel, and many raise concerns about performance and polish.
