Chinese Basketball Manager

From the Devs

Take Over the Franchise

Stop screaming at your screen, “I could coach better than this fraud.”
Fine. Keyboard’s yours, coach.

You are now in charge of everything: building the roster, running practices, managing egos, fixing the locker room vibes, drawing up ATOs on the whiteboard, and doing dark CBA wizardry just to survive the luxury tax. Your mission is simple: build a team so broken that your grandma could three-peat with it.

Run Your 12-Man Roster

Manage your 12-man squad and try not to get cooked by the salary cap. Find value in the vet-minimum bargain bin, avoid locking yourself into cap hell, and pray your max-contract superstar does not become a load-management merchant the second the ink dries.

Watch out for certified contract-year frauds, washed allegations, fake tough guys, and players whose only elite skill is clapping from the bench. But do not disrespect the end-of-bench towel GOAT either. Every dynasty needs a guy who gives you elite vibes per 36.

A Real Player Ecosystem

This is not just “click train, numbers go up.”
You have to manage development, injuries, chemistry, morale, ego, and body-language-per-possession.

One bad week and your star is on fraud watch. One ugly loss and the nephews are posting lowlights with captions like “legacy points deducted.” Then suddenly someone throws an elbow, someone else hits a “totally natural shooting motion” directly into another man’s future bloodline, and now your rotation is in shambles.

Locker-room chemistry matters. Ignore it, and your franchise player might hit you with The Decision 3.0, complete with cryptic Instagram stories, burner-account activity, and a podcast appearance where he says he “just wants to hoop.”

Coach Like a Sicko

Draw up your Horns Diamond sets. Spam Spain pick-and-roll. Hunt mismatches until that defender starts questioning his life choices. When the offense dies, go full Reddit coach mode:

“Just target the weak link every possession.”
“Put him in pick-and-roll jail.”
“BBQ chicken.”
“Give the ball to the guy with that dawg in him.”

And when all else fails, activate the ultimate playbook:

Let the best player cook.

Immersive Game Thread Experience

Follow the live text feed. Stare at the advanced stats dashboard. Overreact to plus-minus. Rotate like a genius or get flamed like Doc Rivers in a Game 7.

Your star might go 1-for-10 and build affordable housing with all those bricks, but after the game you still have to face the media and say:

“He impacted winning in ways that do not show up in the box score.”

The fans will not believe you.
The subreddit will screenshot it.
The agenda will be pushed.

More Than Game Day: Front Office Chaos

Arena and Facilities

Expand your arena. Upgrade the practice court. Build a premium team restaurant. Ban players from sneaking out for street food before back-to-backs.

Upgrade your medical center too, unless you enjoy watching your franchise cornerstone miss half the season with a “groin strain” while the fanbase starts diagnosing him from TV angles.

Transfer Market Madness

Scout imports. Negotiate contracts. Tamper professionally. Balance sponsor money, operating costs, and the owner’s sudden urge to “stay flexible.”

Spend too little and fans call you cheap.
Spend too much and you enter cap hell.
Make one bad trade and the entire internet calls it front-office malpractice.

Find the Two-and-a-Half-Year Prospect

Take control of the youth system and search for hidden gems.

That kid who says he has been “in the lab for two and a half years,” with a mixtape claiming he can sing, dance, rap, and hoop? He might be a meme. He might also be your franchise savior.

Draft wisely. Develop patiently. Do not let him become another “generational prospect” who peaks in summer-league highlights.

Win the Off-Court War

Jersey sales. Fan riots. Sponsor drama. Random scandals. Forum meltdowns. Everything is content.

Lose three games in a row and the game thread turns into a crime scene. Fans start posting:

“We owe you an apology. We weren’t really familiar with your game.”
“This team has zero shame.”
“Sell the team.”
“Blow it up.”
“Fire everyone.”
“Get ready to learn Guangdong, buddy.”

Your job is to stop the bleeding, control the narrative, and keep the fanbase from turning your arena into a live-action comment section.

The Superstar Project

Take the best Chinese player in the world, send him to the NBA, and turn him into the real thing.

No “best Asian player” qualifier.
No “great for his size” qualifier.
No “international icon” qualifier.

Just the GOAT. No asterisk. No agenda. No fraudulence.

A Multi-Season Dynasty

Grind through the regular season. Stat-pad your way into an MVP campaign. Survive All-Star politics. Win playoff wars. Get slandered after every loss and worshipped after every win.

Only when the Chinese superstar you personally developed reaches the NBA, sweeps the awards, stacks rings, breaks the discourse, and forces every GOAT-debate nephew to log off, can your dynasty truly be complete.

So, are you ready to take over?

The whistle has blown.

Draw up the play.
