The Developer Says...

A desk pet with a fishing rod.

Cozy Coast runs quietly in a small window in the corner of your screen, idling while you work, study, or browse. Drop in whenever you like to cast a line, sort your catch, and watch your little stretch of coast come to life.

Fish at your own pace

  • Cast by hand, or buy a rod and let it fish for you.

  • Offline progress: the coast keeps fishing while you are away.

  • No pressure, no grind walls. A calm loop you can dip into for ten seconds or ten minutes.

Fill the almanac

  • 65 fish to find across four waters: the sea, the deep sea, the pond, and the deep pond.

  • A rarity ladder from common minnows all the way up to ultra-rare exotics for near-maxed anglers.

  • Seasonal shells, odd bycatch, and a night shift of fish that only bite after dark.

Grow your angler

  • Climb the rod ladder, unlock new waters, and spend skill points on a branching tree.

  • Forage the beach, crack open drifting loot chests, and shoo the gulls for rewards.

  • Dismantle your finds and forge trinkets worth more than the raw catch.

Make it yours

  • A shop with rods, upgrades, and special lures for chasing the rarest fish.

  • Dress up your little angler with hair, clothes, and rotating seasonal cosmetics.

A living coast

  • A gentle day and night cycle rolls over the shore, and the torch glows after dark.

  • Encrypted Steam Cloud saves that follow you between computers.

Cozy Coast launches as a complete solo game, and Early Access is where it grows into a whole little coast. These features are planned, the order and scope may change, and there are no dates: we would rather ship them right than rush them.

  • Kitchen and cooking: turn your catch into dishes that buff the next stretch of fishing.

  • Crops and the windmill: a small farm beside the fishery, growing on real time.

  • Animal pen and breeding: a cozy pen of animals making ingredients on idle timers.

  • Bar and brewing: age drinks that bend the rules, with a barkeep who buys a daily catch of the day.

  • The hub map: step out of the widget into a bigger, hand-authored map.

  • Fish with friends: share the hub with other anglers, brokered through Steam, no servers to run.

Tight lines. Cast whenever you like.
