Explore illustrated locations, search hidden-object scenes, collect useful items, and solve mini-games and puzzles to move the investigation forward. Clues help reveal the preacher’s plans as you follow the trail through the mountains and monastery.
The main adventure includes 25 mini-games and puzzles, with hidden-object scenes among 43 hand-drawn locations. A bonus adventure, Blood on the Snow, adds a prequel story with more puzzles and hidden-object scenes.
Players who enjoyed the game often praised its conclusion to the trilogy, its story and atmosphere, and its detailed visuals. Some also liked the variety of its hidden-object scenes and puzzles, along with options for adjusting difficulty. Other reviews found the adventure short or the puzzles uneven, describing some as too easy or unintuitive.
