Ripple Lane 101 : Moments With You

From the Devs

It's 2146. Yiling, a girl from New Shanghai, has just moved into her dorm at the Jiutian Institute of Interstellar Navigation.

She's about to learn how to cross the vast distances between the stars. For now, though, she has more pressing things to figure out: keeping up with classes, making new friends, and deciding what time to go to bed tonight.

You'll be her companion through afternoons made for daydreaming and nights that call for a little more effort. Listen to her stories of campus life in the future, remember the names she often mentions, and begin to discover her world from one small dorm room.

Interstellar travel takes careful planning. Spending time with her doesn't.

Bring whatever you'd like to do today. Or simply stay a while.

An Endless Cycle of Rotation

Every planet has its own days and nights.

Like you, Yiling has plans of her own. Sometimes she studies, sometimes she rests, and sometimes she'd rather leave unfinished things until tomorrow. You can join her rhythm or each keep your own. As the days pass, new stories and little changes gradually find their way into this small dorm room.

Experience accumulates while the game is running. Every focus session, yours or hers, contributes to her growth, gradually unlocking new story scenes and room decorations. There's no need for constant interaction. Spend time with her at your own pace, and let companionship become part of your everyday life.

Traces Through Spacetime, Never Forgotten

Time spent with care, and ideas that arrive in a flash, deserve to be remembered.

Break distant goals into little things you can do today. Give your habits a little time, and your ideas somewhere to land. You and Yiling can make plans and find your way forward, one day at a time.

The Pomodoro timer, planning panel, and idea notes help you make time to focus and put your thoughts in order. Use Pomodoro sessions to make progress on goals, to-dos, and habits, or mark them complete yourself. The calendar keeps a history of your progress and ideas, with the option to export your records. Your efforts deserve to be preserved.

The Universe's Gently Shifting Frequencies

Sometimes, a little sound makes the world feel quieter.

Fill the background with rain among the high-rises at night, or the sounds of a summer classroom. Add a melody in no particular hurry. Whether you're focusing on something or simply daydreaming with Yiling, there's a sound to keep you company as the time goes by.

Find your rhythm with Lofi music and ambient themes spanning synthetic sounds, nature, and everyday life. From synthetic noise in its many colors to streams, coastlines, and a winter hearth, each theme offers sounds you can mix and adjust, with subtle variations that keep unfolding. You're changing more than the volume: a breeze might pass now and then, or return in gust after gust. Let the world around you sound just the way you like it.

Distant Starlight, Drawing Closer

The shape of an era can be found in one person's everyday life.

Worries about class, funny stories between friends, a name mentioned in passing: each offers a glimpse of 2146. You'll meet new people alongside Yiling and gradually discover the wider world beyond her dorm. Those casual conversations also hold clues to another question: who, exactly, are you in her world?

The story moves forward as Yiling grows, with further updates to come after launch. Full Chinese voice acting, precise lip sync, and nuanced facial animation bring her words and emotions to life, letting you hear the smile in her voice and see the hesitation she leaves unspoken.

An Ideal Space, All Your Own

One dorm room can hold so many different moods.

Let the light of a clear afternoon linger, or bring a rainy night to the window. Pick an outfit for Yiling, add a few new decorations, and shape everyday life into something you love, little by little.

Choose the time of day and weather ambience, spend the points you've earned on room decorations, and dress Yiling in different outfits. You can also try particle effects created from randomly generated formulas, adjust them yourself, and copy and share them, adding a little unexpected delight to decorating her room.
