The Gloom is swallowing the realms, and only the light of the Dawnheart holds it back. Take up your post, Keeper — raise crystal spires along the road, hold the gates, and carry the last light from the meadows to the Heart of the Gloom itself. [h2]Defend Alone or Together[/h2] Play the entire game solo, or hold a shared board in online co-op with up to 9 Keepers. Invite Steam friends, join with a 6-character code, or browse open lobbies — no server setup, no account beyond Steam. [h2]The Long Dawn — a Roguelite Run[/h2] One huge generated board, up to four realms on it, and no gold at all. Every wave you clear deals you three cards: attack speed, crits, chain lightning, poison spread, a new tower school, a rare keystone that rewrites how your spires fight. Cards roll from common to legendary, so a lucky draft is a run you'll remember. Place towers from a pool of Foundations, ascend your schools through the draft instead of buying tiers, and hold the Keep to the final wave — 30 on Easy, 125 on Nightmare. Every board comes from a seed you can share, and a run in progress is saved so you can walk away and come back. Run it in co-op and every Keeper drafts their own cards, for their own towers — so one of you goes for burning damage, one for slows and shields, and the board ends up something neither of you would have built alone. Finish a run and your time goes on the leaderboard for that difficulty. The Keep holds, or it doesn't. [h2]A Voice-Acted Story Campaign[/h2] Fight through 21 handcrafted missions across 7 realms — meadow, desert, frozen pass, emberwood, shadowlands, hollow deep, and the Heart of the Gloom — with 7 bosses and 15 optional Keeper Tales that fill in the world's memory. Every line of dialogue is fully voiced in both English and Hebrew. [h2]Build Your Defense[/h2] Ten spires — Cannon, Archer, Frost, Storm, Ballista, Venom, Sun, Dusk, Echo and Prism — each with three tiers and a branching specialization at the top. Carry a loadout of four into battle, tune it with 7 runes, relocate a misplaced spire, and pick one of four Keeper classes with their own battlefield abilities: Builder, Warden, Mystic, or Mender. [h2]Know What's Coming[/h2] 41 kinds of Gloom walk the road — splitters, taunters, armour-smiths that shield the crowd, striders that laugh at frost, foes that resist steel and foes that resist magic. Every one of them has a counter, and the first time you meet one the game shows you what it is. No single choke point solves every map. [h2]Read the Battlefield[/h2] Every tower keeps a record. Open a spire to see its damage, DPS and kills, or hit Tab mid-wave for the full board report — damage share, live DPS, and the support work that never shows up as damage. The end-of-mission report names the tower that carried you. [h2]Choose Your Challenge[/h2] Four difficulties from Easy to Nightmare. Earn medals on every mission, chase 3-star clears, and prove yourself with Nightmare medals on all 21 — if you can. [h2]Quick Play, Endless, and the Maze[/h2] Fifteen skirmish maps across four realms in three more modes: Classic waves, Endless survival, and Maze — an open arena where you place the gates and wall your own labyrinth. Separate Endless records to push, with Steam leaderboards. [h2]Rival Keeps (PvP)[/h2] Two teams, two boards, up to 6v6. Defend your Keep while the rival team's waves pressure theirs — last light standing wins. [h2]Forge and Share[/h2] Build your own maps and full multi-mission campaigns — with story screens, custom wave tuning, even custom towers and enemies — in the built-in Forge editor, and publish them straight to Steam Workshop. Co-op-flagged community campaigns can be played together online. [h2]Earn Everything by Playing[/h2] Crystals earned in missions unlock 10 Keep skins and 6 Keeper appearances. No microtransactions, no paid currency — the shop takes crystals, not money.
