Roulettegeddon

From the Devs

Hi! Roulettegeddon is a solo-developed indie game that took around four years to create.

Yep. One developer. One game. A questionable number of zombies. And probably way too much time staring at a roulette wheel. Everything you see in Roulettegeddon (From the roulette table and its systems to the mini-games, zombies, ridiculous ideas, and Rotten Bob's charming personality) was put together as an independent project with a lot of work, experimentation, mistakes, improvements, and an unhealthy amount of caffeine.

Because this is a one-person project, please keep that in mind when playing, reporting bugs, or leaving a Steam review. I may not be able to fix everything instantly, but feedback is always welcome and genuinely helps make the game better. Having people actually play it makes all those years worth it. Thank you! Welcome to Roulettegeddon!

:: WELCOME TO ROULETTEGEDDON! ::

Welcome to Roulettegeddon — where the wheel keeps spinning, the dead keep talking, and your financial decisions somehow keep getting worse.

At its rotten heart, Roulettegeddon is a fully playable traditional roulette game wrapped in a dark, grotesque world filled with zombies, black humor, strange contraptions and questionable ways of making money.

Place classic roulette bets, chase your lucky numbers and try to grow your balance while sharing the table with Rotten Bob — a sarcastic zombie who has somehow managed to lose almost everything... including his body.

Now reduced to a head attached to a bizarre life-support machine, Bob spends his remaining existence talking, mocking your bets, reacting to what happens at the table and telling stories about the many inconveniences of being undead, broke and completely bodyless.

He may not have arms.

He may not have legs.

But unfortunately, he still has a mouth.

:: CLASSIC ROULETTE. ROTTEN ATMOSPHERE. ::

Underneath all the bones, candles, strange machinery and questionable decorations is a traditional roulette game.

Place bets across the table using familiar roulette options including individual numbers, Red or Black, Odd or Even, Low or High, dozens, columns and more.

Manage your balance, choose how much you're willing to risk and spin the wheel.

The rules may be traditional.

The casino definitely isn't.

:: MEET THE TERRIBLE... ROTTEN BOB! ::

Every terrible casino needs a terrible host.

Meet Rotten Bob, your undead companion at the roulette table.

Bob is technically still alive — although the definition of "alive" is doing a lot of work here.

With no body left and only a strange machine keeping his head operational, Bob reacts to your victories, your losses and the questionable decisions you make at the table.

Expect sarcastic comments, insults, self-deprecating jokes and stories about the surprisingly complicated life of a zombie without arms, legs... or anything below the neck.

You can lose your money. Bob has already lost his entire body.

:: BROKE? GO EARN IT BACK. ::

Eventually, the wheel might take everything.

In most casinos, that would be the end of the story.

Not in Roulettegeddon.

When you need more credits, step away from the roulette table and enter a collection of mini-games. Your performance earns currency that can be converted back into balance for the main roulette game.

Different mini-games. Different gameplay. Same terrible economy.

:: ZOMBIE GLADIATOR ::

Why gamble for money when you can fight for it?

Enter Zombie Gladiator, an FPS arena where you summon waves of zombies and turn them into points using an arsenal of weapons scattered throughout the battlefield.

Find weapons and ammunition, unleash the undead, survive the arena and push your score as high as possible.

But you're not fighting alone.

A live crowd and arena announcer react to events happening during the match, turning every round into your own grotesque undead spectacle.

Earn points. Convert your winnings. Return to the roulette table.

The crowd wants a show. Give them one.

:: ROTTEN COOKIES ::

Who needs a bakery when decomposition does all the work?

Rotten Cookies is an idle clicker mini-game where your disgusting little cookie empire starts with a simple click.

Produce cookies, accumulate more of them and purchase increasingly bizarre upgrades from the Rotten Store to increase your production.

Build your rotten economy, watch the numbers climb and convert your cookie fortune into balance for Roulettegeddon.

Bake. Rot. Profit.

:: SPLATTER VAN ::

Running low on cash?

Apparently zombies are worth money now.

Splatter Van puts you behind the wheel of a van on a road packed with the undead.

Dodge obstacles, collect upgrades and plow through zombie hordes while pushing your score higher and higher.

The better your run, the more value you can bring back to the roulette table.

Drive. Crush. Upgrade. Repeat.

:: ONE CASINO. SEVERAL BAD IDEAS. ::

Roulettegeddon combines traditional roulette with dark comedy, an undead cast and a collection of mini-games connected through a shared economy.

Spin the wheel.

Lose your fortune.

Bake rotten cookies.

Run over zombies.

Fight in the arena.

Make another fortune.

Then lose it all at the roulette table again.
