Second Nature: Night Authority

From the Devs

Become a Vampire Blood Sorcerer

You were once a human blood sorcerer who attempted to steal the power of vampirism.

The ritual failed.

Left dying, you were transformed by an ancient vampire, leaving you with something far more dangerous than either gift alone: vampiric blood and forbidden sorcery bound together.

Now the Princess has placed you under the control of the Night Authority, a hidden power governing vampire society from the shadows.

Work for them. Earn your place. Master what you have become.

Second Nature: Night Authority is a single-player, first-person open-world vampire action game built around supernatural movement, blood sorcery, night work, combat, progression, and life within a hidden vampire society.

Work the Night

Every night begins at one of your hideouts.

Check your assignments, prepare what you need, and head into the city.

The Night Authority offers different kinds of work, from simple assignments to increasingly dangerous operations involving targets, hunters, debtors, bodies, and problems the human world was never meant to see.

Complete jobs to earn money and Rank Points, strengthen your character, and gain access to greater opportunities.

When your work is done, return to your shelter and sleep.

A new night begins.

Master Blood Sorcery and Vampiric Power

You are not an ordinary vampire.

Unlock and upgrade supernatural abilities that change how you fight, move, hunt, and survive.

Manipulate blood, unleash destructive attacks, defend yourself with supernatural powers, recover from wounds, control enemies, and combine vampirism with the sorcery you possessed before your transformation.

Many abilities come at a cost.

Your own health can become a resource, turning immense power into a dangerous gamble when used carelessly. Feed when necessary, manage your condition, and decide when unleashing your strongest abilities is worth the price.

Build your character around the powers you enjoy and continue expanding your arsenal as you rise.

Move Like Something Inhuman

The city is yours to cross.

Climb buildings, leap between rooftops, chain aerial dashes, glide over streets, shift through the environment, and unlock increasingly powerful forms of supernatural traversal.

Objectives do not need to be approached from the road.

Find your own routes, move above the city, and turn its skyline into part of your playground.

Enter the Trials

When ordinary encounters are no longer enough, enter the Trials.

Fight through dedicated supernatural combat challenges built to push your abilities, movement, resource management, and combat skill to their limits.

As the Trials grow more dangerous, so do the enemies waiting inside.

Survive, prove your strength, and return prepared for what comes next.

Rise Through the Night Authority

You begin near the bottom of a society that values usefulness, strength, and results.

Complete assignments, earn Rank Points, and climb through 65 Authority Ranks.

Greater standing brings stronger abilities, more dangerous work, tougher opposition, new opportunities, and access to systems that were previously beyond your reach.

The deeper you rise into the Authority, the more the night opens around you.

Build Your Life After Dark

Money is more than a score.

Spend what you earn on supplies and immediate power, improve the places you call home, invest in systems that generate future income, or save for upgrades that can change how efficiently you operate.

Over time, your nights can grow from simple survival into something much larger.

Build resources. Expand your influence. Become stronger, richer, and increasingly difficult to stop.

A City That Reacts to You

The city may be trapped in permanent night, but it is not without consequences.

Civilians live their lives beneath a supernatural world they barely understand. Police patrol the streets. Hunters search for creatures like you. Other threats operate in the darkness.

Feed when you need blood.

Fight when necessary.

Use your powers openly if you are willing to deal with the attention they may bring.

You are powerful, but the city is watching.

Your Night. Your Progression. Your Power.

Take jobs.

Earn money.

Master blood sorcery.

Cross the city with supernatural speed.

Enter the Trials.

Rise through the Authority.

And become something the night can no longer ignore.
