The Developer Says...

RAVENCROFT MANSION, 15 DECEMBER 1906

Arabella Ravencroft died during a power blackout with nine people in the room. The roads are closed. You are Inspector Lucian Hartwell, and nobody can leave until the snow clears.

DEDUCTION MECHANIC

Every conversation offers clues. Those that fit together, combine into facts; and facts are the only thing that will progress the story. Confront the right person with the right fact and their story cracks, giving you new clues to work with.

The mansion doesn't unlock through keys or inventory puzzles. It unlocks through what you can prove.

NINE SUSPECTS

A lawyer who answers every question fully and yet tells you nothing. A doctor whose hands shake before the body is even found. A painter who arrived the evening of the murder, lying about how he got there. A groundskeeper who ties up guests, and five more waiting their turn to lie to you.

All nine of them have the means and the motive to kill.

THE DETECTIVE IS ALSO THE CASE

Inspector Hartwell arrives at the mansion carrying something. Eleven years, a scar and a pocket watch he opens too often. Before the case is closed, the mansion will bring all of it to the surface.

MAKING THIS GAME

This is a solo project that I created in 3 years. Seraph's Kiss was originally a book. I wrote it, didn't publish it so I decided to make it a game. The second book is in progress: 1909 in a monastery, Lucian Hartwell again as the Inspector.
