From the Devs

BUILD YOUR FOOTBALL DYNASTY

Take control of a professional football franchise and prove you can build a championship organization from the front office to the field.

Draft Day Sports: Pro Football 27 puts you in charge of the decisions that define a franchise. Build your roster through the draft, free agency and trades. Manage contracts and the salary cap. Hire and develop your coaching staff. Create a football philosophy that fits your personnel, prepare for each opponent and watch your decisions play out every week.

There are no shortcuts to building a dynasty. Finding talent is only the beginning. You need to decide which players are worth investing in, when to move on from veterans, how to keep your roster financially sustainable and whether the players you acquire actually fit what your coaches want to do.

BUILD YOUR ROSTER

Every offseason gives you another opportunity to reshape your franchise.

Scout the upcoming draft class, identify players who fit your organization and decide when to take your shot on draft day. Work the trade market, navigate free agency and negotiate extensions with the players you want to keep.

Contract decisions go far beyond the total dollar amount. Players evaluate offers based on a number of factors. Building the best roster means understanding what matters to the player across the negotiating table.

And with DDS: College Football 27, connected leagues can now import their draft classes directly into Pro Football 27, allowing the players from your college football universe to continue their careers at the professional level.

BUILD YOUR STAFF

A great roster still needs the right people leading it.

Hire coaches, manage your staff and build a coaching structure that matches the kind of football you want your franchise to play. Coaches develop their own characteristics and playbook preferences, making staff decisions an important part of shaping your organization.

PF27 expands staff management with generated coach descriptions, expiring-contract notifications, improved staff behavior and enhanced coach playbook creation, giving you more information and control when assembling your staff.

CREATE YOUR FOOTBALL IDENTITY

Your roster and your scheme should work together.

Build your offensive and defensive approach around the strengths of your personnel. Manage formations, packages and playbooks while preparing for the challenges presented by each opponent.

New package override options provide additional control over which personnel packages are used, while continued improvements to play calling and coach-created playbooks make the strategic side of running your franchise even deeper.

DEVELOP YOUR PLAYERS

Winning isn't only about finding talent. It's about developing it.

The new Advanced Training system gives you more control over player development and how your organization prepares its roster for the future. Decide where your development priorities should be and turn promising players into important pieces of your franchise.

WATCH YOUR GAME PLAN COME TO LIFE

When game day arrives, see the results of everything you've built.

The 2D game presentation has been improved with smoother animations and continued refinements to on-field behavior. Updates to defensive back play, field goals, kickoffs, spikes, overtime situations and play-calling logic make each game a better representation of the decisions being made on the field and in the coaching room.

Simulate games when you want to move quickly or get involved and watch your strategy unfold play by play.
