Please, Kick the Can! currently doesn't have enough reviews for a summary to be created!
Somebody is "it". Everybody else runs. And in the middle of a 1990s Korean village, a single empty can decides how it ends.
Getting caught is not the end
The seeker drags you to the jail behind the playground — and that is where the game actually starts. Any runner still free can sprint in, boot the can, and empty the jail in one kick. Everyone gets two seconds of immunity on the way out, and the seeker has to fetch the can back before anyone can be caught again. One good kick undoes four minutes of work.
A new power every round
Every match deals you a hand of three and you keep one. Ninety-nine cards, thirty-three powers across three tiers, and they do not politely balance each other: a bamboo helicopter that lifts the seeker over the rooftops, a fart booster that fires a runner across the square, a web shot that glues a chase to the ground, an RC car packed with something it should not be packed with. Break open the scrap piles for gold and build a second one mid-match.
The village has its own plans
The transformer blows and the street goes dark. Rain turns the road slick and the footsteps loud. A patrol drone sweeps its light down the alley, a chained dog decides it does not like you, a gacha machine eats your coin. None of it is on your side, and none of it is on theirs either.
Four minutes, then one more
A match is four minutes by default and the host can set it from two to six. The result screen has a rematch button, and the series score sits right beside it. Play with two, play with eight, switch who is "it" every round.
