After an accident at a bio-weapon facility infects humanity, you enter the lab to reach a large supply of antidote on its lowest floor. The antidote temporarily blocks airborne infection and has become the currency of the new world.
Fight through the building floor by floor in 2D shooter combat. Aim at enemies, manage distance and timing, and use weapons such as rifles, shotguns, and mines against infected foes.
The run spans ten floors, with enemy encounters and scattered items to collect. Spend resources on weapons or upgrades, and carry certain finds back to the first floor for rewards. The game uses a limited-color, four-bit pixel style.
Players who enjoy Bloody Walls often describe it as a brief, engaging arcade challenge, praising its retro pixel look and tense combat. Some also like its unusual shooting mechanic and music. Others find aiming awkward, one-hit deaths and full-run resets frustrating, and the experience too short or repetitive.
