Race to the Far Side
Parry and Throw Weapons
Switch Among Four Weapons
The rules are simple. Reach the other side and kill anyone that stands in your way. Deftly parry and rend their throats, riddle their bowels with arrows, or squish their brains between your toes. The wurm cares not for chivalry.

You play as a fighter trying to cross a side-scrolling arena and reach its far end. Defeating an opponent opens a route forward, but they return to challenge your advance.
Combat revolves around parrying, throwing weapons, and adjusting to four weapon types: the rapier, broadsword, dagger, and bow. Each has different strengths, so duels can shift as players change tactics.
Play the arcade mode against AI, duel another player, or enter tournaments for up to eight players. The game also has ten stages, character customization, online matchmaking and private games, and more than ten rule variables to adjust.
Players who enjoy Nidhogg 2 often praise its lively duels with friends, sudden shifts in momentum, and simple-to-learn combat that can still reward tactical play. Some also appreciate the weapon variety, music, or bold visual style. Reactions to the art and combat changes are divided, and some players find the solo experience brief or the online matchmaking quiet.
