Set in a snowy arena in a post-apocalyptic Northern Canada, Darwin Project pits ten inmates against one another and the cold. You can compete as a contestant trying to be the last one standing, or take the Show Director role and influence the match.

As a contestant, you gather resources, craft and upgrade gear, track opponents, and use melee and ranged combat. Staying warm is part of survival, and the arena’s zones close over time to push the competition onward.

The Show Director can alter the match with powers such as closing zones, triggering hazards, and addressing contestants. Spectators can also influence certain events through votes and other interactions.
