MOTHERGUNSHIP is a bullet-hell FPS where you craft your own guns, fight gigantic bosses, and defeat a robotic alien armada that conquered Earth. Face off against overwhelming odds in brutal, non-stop combats where thinking on your feet is the only way to survive.

Humanity is fighting a robotic alien fleet that has conquered Earth. You play a fighter infiltrating enemy ships, pushing through their defenses on the way to the Mothergunship.
Missions take you through connected rooms filled with robotic enemies, projectiles, and hazards. Fight in first person, move and jump to dodge incoming fire, and collect money and weapon parts as you clear rooms.
Build guns by combining barrels, connectors, and modifiers, then expand or adjust your loadout with parts found or bought during a mission. Larger builds use more energy, and dying costs you the parts carried on that run. Permanent upgrades and co-op provide additional ways to play.
Players who enjoy MOTHERGUNSHIP often praise the freedom to experiment with outlandish gun combinations and the fast, chaotic bullet-hell combat; some also enjoy playing co-op and the humorous dialogue. Other reviews find the rooms and enemies repetitive, or say that rebuilding guns and losing parts on death can make experimentation frustrating.
