Set in a former Soviet republic, BRAIN / OUT casts players as mercenaries and marauders fighting for cash. It is a 2D, side-scrolling shooter built around multiplayer firefights with modern weapons.
Players can enter modes such as deathmatch, team deathmatch and base capture, or explore an extraction-style mode to search for supplies and weapons before leaving the map.
