Agatha is a seven-year-old who loves both animals and meat. To ease the animals’ fear of the butcher shop where her mother works, she creates Carnivorism, a religion meant to persuade them that being slaughtered leads to happiness.
Explore a hand-drawn world, speak with its unusual residents, inspect objects, and collect items. Conversations and clues help Agatha pursue her plan and uncover stories connected to places such as a burger shop and a veterinary clinic.
Progress through point-and-click, inventory-based puzzles that involve finding and using objects to open new paths and advance the story. The adventure combines its child protagonist’s outlook with dark humor and satire around belief, food, and morality.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its unusual story, sharp dark humor, and satirical dialogue, along with the contrast between its colorful, childlike art and unsettling subject matter. Memorable characters and approachable puzzles also come up positively. Some reviewers find the repeated travel between locations tedious, and others criticize the lengthy dialogue or puzzles whose clues can be hard to follow.
