Play as a hero venturing into the Dark Citadel, alone or with up to three other players. Fight through enemies, traps, and bosses as you explore dungeon floors whose layouts change between runs.
Choose from seven classes, each with specializations that add abilities and passives. During a run, collect temporary trinkets and upgrades; between runs, equip and enchant gear to shape your character’s build.
Bring resources back to town to build and upgrade facilities that support future expeditions. Character and account-wide progression carry across runs, and defeating the Citadel unlocks New Game+ with tougher enemies and further rewards.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its action combat, distinct classes, and the steady sense of growth from upgrading heroes and the town. Co-op is a recurring highlight, and some players enjoy experimenting with gear and builds across repeated runs. Other reviews find that the grind and familiar layouts make later play feel repetitive, and opinions differ on the pacing and balance.
