Baja: Edge of Control HD is the carefully remastered version of the original off-road racer from 2008. This truly unique game contains more than 1,000 miles of the toughest terrain Mother Nature has to offer, including the steepest mountains, thickest mud and deepest canyons known to man.

BAJA: Edge of Control HD is an off-road racer set across large landscapes with nine open worlds. You can compete in organized events or roam freely to find hidden tracks, jumps and other routes.
Choose from more than 160 vehicles across eight classes, then tune their performance with upgradeable parts. Events include hill climbs, open-class head-to-head races, circuits and long Baja endurance races, with more than 100 tracks available.
Vehicle damage affects your machine during races: tires can blow, suspension can take stress and engines can overheat. You can monitor damage and call truck or helicopter support for repairs. The game also supports four-player local split-screen and up to 16-player online multiplayer.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its off-road driving feel, expansive courses and the freedom to roam or take on long races. Vehicle and event variety also appeal to reviewers, with some highlighting the soundtrack. Opinions are mixed: recurring complaints include uneven AI difficulty, handling that some find inconsistent, and visuals that show the game's age.
