People have lived for generations in underground settlements, with the ever-changing Tangledeep labyrinth as their route to the surface. You venture into its floors to discover what lies above, encountering monsters, ancient automatons, quests, and varied environments.
Combat is turn-based: your moves give enemies their turns, making positioning and actions part of each encounter. Explore dungeon floors, fight creatures, complete quests, and collect equipment and other items.
Build your character through a system of 12 jobs and more than 100 skills, with the option to change jobs and combine learned abilities. You can capture monsters to raise or breed as pets, enter randomized mini-dungeons to improve gear, and choose from modes and modifiers that alter the challenge.
Players who enjoy Tangledeep often point to its flexible job and skill combinations, tactical turn-based fights, and retro pixel-art presentation and soundtrack.
