Rez Infinite

You enter a computer network as an avatar tasked with reaching the AI Eden. Across five on-rails stages, you aim at viruses and obstacles, lock onto targets, and fire while moving along a set route.

Your actions add sounds to the electronic music, while enemies and abstract environments pulse with the beat. Collecting spheres raises your avatar's level and changes its form; taking damage lowers it. Each stage ends with a boss encounter.

The game includes score-focused modes and replay options, alongside Area X, a separate stage with free movement through 3D space. The original stages and Area X can be played on a desktop or in optional VR.
