Command a ship and crew on voyages across the Atlantic, where keeping everyone fed and alive is central to each journey. Unexpected hazards and encounters can turn a routine crossing into a struggle to survive.
Sail between ports, buy supplies, fish with a harpoon, explore, and take on hostile ships. You can also trade, plunder, hunt for treasure, and make choices that steer your adventure toward piracy or privateering.
Choose from captains and professions with different starting perks, and manage supplies and crew as events unfold. Voyages can end in failure, but new captains unlock for another run; route planning and an optional fantasy mode add further ways to play.
In this sample, players often enjoy the game’s charming pirate take on an Oregon Trail-style voyage, with varied activities and unpredictable runs that can produce funny or memorable mishaps. Some also praise its music, art, and amount of content. A few reviewers find progression grindy or the early game difficult, and one objects to the amount of harpoon fishing.

Set sail across the Atlantic with your best friend, food. Food will keep you alive and food will keep you well- you get food by throwing harpoons at fish and turtles. Then one day BAM! The RNG screws you over and throws a pirate ship at you and you're forced to fight and defend your food!
The next thing you know, Johnny Macguffin is dying from an infected battle wound and you're amputating his leg to save his life- then you realize everyone is starving because Marvin Buttercup ate all the food and you're out of harpoons, on a raft, 2,000 miles from land, and it's raining.
