V-Rally 4 is an off-road racing game with five disciplines: timed rally stages, circuit-based rallycross, precision drift courses, buggy races, and hill climbs. You drive across varied environments, including routes in different countries and conditions such as dirt, snow, and rain.
Each discipline calls for a different approach, from managing narrow rally routes to competing against other cars on closed tracks or steering buggies through hilly terrain. The driving blends arcade and simulation elements, with a range of vehicles suited to the different events.
Career mode lets you enter events, earn money, and build a team. You can buy, collect, upgrade, and customize cars, hire crew members, and pursue sponsorships by meeting event requirements. Quick Race offers access to cars and environments, while multiplayer supports online races and local split-screen.
