Choose from a roster of current and retired NBA players and take a two-player team onto colorful playground courts. The game presents basketball as an exaggerated arcade sport rather than a realistic simulation.
Matches focus on quick, energetic possessions: charge and release shots, pass, steal, block, and finish with oversized dunks and alley-oops. Player abilities and stats vary, so choosing a pairing can shape how your team plays.
Play exhibition games, progress through Season and Playgrounds Championship modes, or enter three-point contests. Matches earn in-game currency for card packs that unlock players, while challenges and play let you upgrade players you have collected.
Players who enjoy the game often praise its quick, exaggerated arcade basketball and its throwback feel, especially when playing local matches with friends.
