Slipstream

Slipstream is an arcade racer presented in a pseudo-3D style with 2D graphics, colorful scenery, and music influenced by synthpop and jazz fusion. Players drive through tracks set in places such as cities, deserts, forests, mountains, and beaches.

Racing centers on drifting through corners and using the slipstream behind other cars to build speed and overtake. Five car models have different specifications and handling styles. Optional traffic and rival racers add obstacles and competition.

Grand Tour sends players along a road trip with branching routes and rivals. Other modes include customizable Cannonball races, five-race Grand Prix championships with prize money for car upgrades, single races, time trials, and elimination-style Battle Royale. Local multiplayer supports up to four players.
