Alphen, a masked man with no memories and no sense of pain, joins Shionne, a Renan woman with a dangerous power, in the fight against Renan rule over Dahna. As they travel with a growing group of allies, they confront the oppression of Dahnan people and uncover the forces behind the conflict between the two worlds.

Explore towns and varied natural regions, take on quests, and fight enemies in real-time battles. Chain normal attacks and Artes, use character-specific Boost Attacks, and finish with powerful team Boost Strikes. You can switch the controlled party member during combat and build combinations around the different characters.

Develop the party by earning skills and crafting weapons and accessories from gathered materials. Cooking at camps provides temporary buffs, while fishing offers another activity and a source of ingredients.
