Russian Fishing 4 is an open-ended fishing simulator with RPG-style progression and no story campaign. You play as an angler exploring different waters and fishing from shore or from a boat.
Choose among float, bottom, spinning, and marine fishing, then select rods, reels, bait, and other tackle for your approach. Fish behavior can vary with factors such as weather and time of day, so players adjust their setups and try different spots and techniques.
Catches contribute to level and skill progression, which develops fishing specializations and can unlock further techniques and waters. Players can also craft lures, prepare bait, cook, and take part in competitions and tournaments.
