A game of crowds.
Developed by Mario von Rickenbach, Michael Frei · Published by Playables

KIDS is a short interactive animation centered on crowds of children. You influence their movement, sometimes moving with the group and sometimes against it, as a series of abstract scenes unfolds.
Using simple clicks and movement, you guide crowds and trigger reactions among the children. They run, clap, fall, and pressure others to join them; your interactions help each scene progress.
The experience moves from one animated scenario to the next, with little traditional structure such as scores or conventional goals. Its interactions focus on changing how the crowd behaves rather than controlling an individual character.
Players who enjoy KIDS often value it as a strange, brief interactive art experience, especially its spare visuals and the freedom to interpret what the crowd’s behavior means. Some find the scenes memorable or thought-provoking, while others feel the limited interaction, unclear meaning, and short runtime make it unsatisfying as a game.
