Galimulator

Galimulator simulates a randomly generated galaxy where empires compete for stars through wars, revolutions, politics, research, and other events. You can watch their history unfold in Observer mode, or take a more active role.

In Emperor mode, you lead an empire, using a flagship to support expansion and defense while building and controlling ships and managing a spy network. Sandbox mode lets you alter conditions and interfere with the galaxy, while empires also pursue quests, build artifacts, and encounter space monsters.

Empires change their politics and research technologies as they grow, while their people rise through ranks and form dynasties. Each empire may fall to conquest, internal strife, or other threats, leaving room for new powers to emerge.

Players who enjoy Galimulator often like watching empires rise and fall and imagining stories from the events the simulation generates.
