PowerBeatsVR puts you in a VR workout arena, where you move to music by punching incoming targets, ducking or sidestepping obstacles, and squatting. Some workouts also have you shatter boulders and navigate obstacle courses.
Choose from professionally designed workouts set to official music or use your own tracks to generate beat-matched routines. You can also create or edit workouts, including by recording your movements to a song.
Adjust difficulty and workout elements such as obstacle frequency, speed, and required force, then combine tracks into playlists or play endurance and endless modes. The game tracks activity metrics, offers leaderboards, and lets you unlock additional weapons as you play.
In the supplied reviews, players appreciate that the game turns rhythm play into a demanding workout, with punching, squatting, and dodging that can leave them sweating. Several also value generating routines from their own music and adjusting the workout to suit their preferences. Some reviews mention problems with hit registration and limits on workout settings.
This app requires a playspace of at least 6'6''x4'11'' (2x1.5m).
