Zanki Zero: Last Beginning

After civilization sinks beneath the sea, eight characters live on a decaying island and explore the ruins around them. Each chapter follows a different protagonist as the group searches for answers about the broken world and the characters’ pasts.

Explore first-person, grid-based dungeons, islands, and other ruined locations, finding materials, facing monsters, and solving environmental puzzles. Combat takes place in real time, with movement and timed attacks shaping encounters.

The group must manage food, stamina, stress, and bodily needs while preparing at their base. Characters age through a short life cycle, and death leads to a new clone; dying in different ways can grant upgrades that help in future lives. Gathered resources can also be used to craft equipment and supplies.
