Developed by Wonderscope Games · Published by Team17
After arriving by train in Hokko, you settle into a home in a village of animal residents. Help the town grow by welcoming residents and developing its buildings and spaces.
Gather materials by chopping trees, mining, and exploring, then grow crops, fish with craftable bait, and catch insects. Quests and town development gradually unlock more activities and areas.
Use the workshop to create furniture from shapes and materials, and paint furniture, wallpaper, flooring, and clothing. Place and decorate homes around town, or share designs through the Community Store.
Players who enjoy Hokko Life often praise its hands-on furniture editor, freedom to arrange the village, and relaxed pace with activities such as fishing and collecting. Other reviewers find resource gathering and progression slow or repetitive, and some say the villagers and dialogue feel thin; several also report bugs or glitches.
Hokko Life is a cosy, creativity filled community sim game.
