Hotel Magnate

From the Devs

Hotel Magnate is a tycoon/simulator game that gives you the tools to build and manage your own hotel, motel, luxury resort, or shabby shack. It is whatever you make of it.

Beginning with nothing but dreams and an empty lot, you can shape your hotel to your liking. Pick from an assortment of rooms and facilities that will grow both your floorspace and your revenue stream. Build restaurants for the foodies, day spas for the vacationers, and conference halls for the workaholics. There’s a wide range of rooms to choose from.

Once you’ve laid down the foundations, it’s time to pick out the decor. That’s right; you get to customize everything down to the furniture and decorations. Make it wacky, make it classy, or change up the theme from room to room. You will attract different types of guests as your hotel grows and its rating changes, bringing new opportunities and challenges. Remember, the customer is usually wrong, but you’re in the service industry now. Get your hotel in shape, slap on your best smile, and be prepared for whatever comes.

• Build, furnish, and oversee your own hotel

• Tend to your guests' needs and demands, and attract wealthier clientele by improving facilities and securing better ratings

• Hire employees to clean, serve, manage, and maintain your hotel

• Take control of the inner-workings of your hotel by managing bedrooms, wages, restaurants, and many other operations

• Become adept at marketing to attract different types of guests and generate buzz

The facilities you provide have a major impact on the types of guests your hotel attracts. Each facility attracts a certain type of client, but might convince others to stay well away. Are you thinking about creating a health and wellness resort? Gym and spa facilities will go a long way to attract health-conscious holidaymakers.

• Guest rooms and en-suite bathrooms

• Restaurants

• Kitchens and laundry

• Bars/Nightclubs

• Pools, gyms, spas

• Staff-rooms

• & Much More!

Hire staff to keep your hotel running smoothly. Be sure to pick the right people for the various positions, as each will have different skill levels and wage demands.

Your hotel will be frequented by many guests, including but not limited to:

• Backpackers

• Partygoers

• Families

• Luxury seekers

• Health nuts

• A strange fellow named George

Don’t forget to keep an eye on your hotel rating! If you offer poor accommodation to your guests, do not expect them to be friendly when they put their reviews online. Ratings will naturally affect how many clients you receive in the future, as well as the type.

Hotel Magnate provides players with an enormous amount of customization and choice, allowing you to create a piece of paradise or a nightmarish motel. Your decisions will affect every aspect of play, so be prepared to deal with the consequences.
