You captain a crab-fishing vessel in the Bering Sea, preparing for seasonal fishing trips while working against quotas, crab movements, and changing sea conditions.
On board, you operate the boat and its equipment, bait and deploy crab pots, retrieve them, and sort the catch. You must return protected females and undersized crabs to the sea, while using water and seabed conditions to help choose fishing areas.
Sell your catch, buy fuel and supplies, repair equipment, and invest in upgrades. You can hire crew to take on some jobs or handle more of the work yourself as you pursue better results over successive seasons.
