Last Tide casts players as underwater combatants competing against one another in a shark-filled battle royale. Players navigate reefs and sunken bases while avoiding or confronting sharks, including a roaming Megalodon.
Fight with underwater firearms and spear guns, and use equipment such as chum grenades to draw sharks toward enemies, flares to expose hidden players, and grappling hooks to move around or pull others. Divepods launch players into battle, while stations around the map let them relaunch and reposition.
Earn points through player takedowns and a bounty system that reveals the leaders’ zone to the server. Matches also earn Clams for cosmetics, and hidden artifacts provide another way to earn more. A battle royale event is described as occurring every eight hours; defeating the Megalodon can reward an exclusive weapon.
The one supplied review calls the concept good, but says the player expected more online players and now believes the game is inactive.
