You are an engineer in a Mars colony responsible for keeping its rovers operational so they can continue collecting information about the planet. Jobs involve investigating damaged machines and restoring them to service.
Inspect rover components, remove faulty parts, and use workshop equipment to carry out repairs. You can solder damaged circuit boards, clean worn components, break assemblies down into smaller pieces, and use a 3D printer to make replacements.
Recover materials by recycling damaged parts, and gain experience as you take on increasingly difficult jobs. A career system lets you develop along technician, analyst, or resource-focused paths.
Players who enjoy machinery and space often appreciate inspecting detailed rovers and working through repairs at a calm, methodical pace. Some also value the explanations of what components do. Other reviews find the repeated disassembly and reassembly tedious, with complaints about slow interactions and difficulty locating some faults.
