Arise: A Simple Story

After his death, an old man awakens in another realm and revisits memories from his life, from childhood onward. The story is told without dialogue through scenes, environments, and music.

Move through each landscape by walking, jumping, climbing, and solving environmental puzzles. You can rewind or advance time to change the world around you, and pause it to navigate obstacles; each level combines these abilities with different environmental features.

The journey spans ten episodes, with optional memory collectibles tucked into some levels. Local co-op lets a second player control time while the other moves the character; the game can also be played solo.

Many also enjoy how time manipulation feeds into varied platforming puzzles.
