Set during the Three Kingdoms era, the game puts you in charge of a faction competing to unify China. The country is shown on one large map, divided into 46 cities and roughly 340 regions that change color as territory is claimed.
Plan military campaigns by choosing routes and formations, directing troops, and protecting their supply lines. Armies supplied from connected territory stay effective; cutting their connection weakens them.
Assign more than 1,000 officers, each with traits suited to roles in battle or administration. Organize your government through a policy-based administration chart, while managing territory and resources and using diplomacy to pursue your faction’s goals.
