After a new threat arrives on Magalan, Jax sets out to find his separated son and persuade the planet’s factions to unite. The single-player role-playing adventure follows him through a science-fantasy world threatened by the Skyands.

Travel across Magalan’s varied environments, using a jetpack to reach distant places and explore from the ground or air. Take on quests, meet its inhabitants, and recruit companions who can join you on your journey.

Fight with close- and ranged-combat options while developing Jax’s attributes and skills. Collect and improve equipment, craft useful items, and progress through the story as you decide how to approach the factions.

In this helpfulness-selected sample, players who enjoyed ELEX II often praised the freedom to explore Magalan, the jetpack, and the sense of building up a character in an old-school RPG. Some also liked the faction and companion questlines and the world’s atmosphere.
