While If My Heart Had Wings -Flight Diary- is technically a fan disc for If My Heart Had Wings, it includes six stories - including the prologue and epilogue to the main story - and acts as a sort of sequel to the original.

Set in Kazegaura, the game follows Aoi Minase and the friends connected through their school’s glider club. Their shared dream of flying beyond the clouds frames stories about friendship, growing up, and what comes next.
The six stories are selected individually from the startup screen. Each stands alone, with no common route or branching choices, so players can choose which episode to read.
The episodes include a prologue and epilogue for the glider club, character-focused stories for Hotaru and Kanako, a story about the Kazato sisters, and a retelling of the main story from Kotori’s perspective. Some continue events from the original visual novel.
Players who enjoyed the original often value the chance to spend more time with its cast, with the glider club’s prologue and epilogue frequently singled out for adding context and closure. Reviews also appreciate the warm character moments and relaxed presentation. Some find the extra stories short or uneven, and describe the overall experience as lighter than a full new central plot.
