You are one of several suitors trying to get a love letter to the princess, who is shut inside her palace. Members of the royal court act as go-betweens, and each round is a contest to outlast or outmaneuver the other suitors.
You keep two cards in hand: draw one, then play one and use its character's ability. Guards and princes can challenge rivals, priests reveal information, and handmaidens can protect your letter. Bluffing, deduction, and choosing when to use a card shape each turn.
The game uses 16 cards across eight character types. A round goes to the last suitor remaining or, if the deck runs out, the player holding the highest-value card. You can play solo against computer opponents or in multiplayer, with games for up to four players.
Players praise the quick, easy-to-learn rounds and the faithful digital adaptation of the card game.
