In a near-future London devastated by demons, you play as a survivor fighting their minions and trying to rescue humanity. The single-player game lets you choose from six character classes, each with its own combat skills, and customize your character’s appearance.
Battle enemies in first-person or third-person perspective. Take on quests, fight through demon-filled areas, and develop your character by gaining levels and skills through quest and battle performance.
Maps, dungeons, quests, monsters, and items can be randomly generated, so repeat runs can differ. Collect weapons and other loot to support your character’s growth.
Players who enjoy the game often point to its dark setting, loot-focused action, and replayability from randomized content, with nostalgia also motivating some returning players. At the same time, many reviews criticize this Steam version for frame-rate drops and other bugs, and some longtime fans object to changes from the original release.
