Creaks

A young man discovers a passage behind the wall of his room and descends into a strange underground mansion, where birdlike inhabitants and dangerous, furniture-shaped creatures live. The story unfolds without dialogue, through scenes, character animations, and the places you explore.

Each room is a puzzle to solve as you find a route forward and avoid creatures with different behaviors. Light changes these creatures into ordinary furniture, making lamps and other environmental mechanisms central to planning your moves.

As you progress, new puzzle elements and ways to control light expand the challenges. You can also search for hidden rooms and collect paintings, some of which contain small interactive puzzles, while the mansion’s mystery gradually develops.

Players often praise the detailed hand-drawn art, imaginative settings, and atmospheric music and sound, alongside puzzles that reward observation and planning.
