In a galaxy facing conflict among major powers and threats from distant quadrants, you take the role of a captain in command of a starship and crew. Choose a faction such as the Federation, Klingon Empire, Romulan Republic, or Dominion, and follow story arcs across the galaxy.
Play through episode-style missions, visit unfamiliar worlds on away-team assignments, and take part in ship-to-ship combat. Missions also bring you into contact with characters and stories from across the Star Trek universe.
Customize your captain, ship, crew, and equipment as you progress through missions and ranks. The online game supports solo play as well as activities with other players, including cooperative operations and player-versus-player combat.
Players who enjoy Star Trek Online often point to its episode-style stories, familiar characters and setting, and the chance to captain and customize their own ships.
